Что обычно является результатом детского интереса к живой природе?
Рисунки, поделки, скворечники, кормушки, прогулки в зоопарк, в лес, наблюдение за муравьями, жуками, кузнечиками, появление в семье домашнего питомца…
Одним из результатов такого интереса сына к окружающему миру стало написание им первого тома Энциклопедии живой природы. Такое великое издание затевалось…
Было тогда сынуле 7 лет. Наиболее интересующими его в то время (как и в последующее) животными были рептилии и насекомые. Вот такой джентльменский набор.
Большую часть своих летних каникул на даче он проводил, наблюдая за муравьями, жуками, стрекозами, кузнечиками, лягушками, ящерицами, змеями (если таковые ему попадались в поле зрения)…
В какой-то момент он так переполнился знаниями об этих представителях фауны нашей полосы, что не мог уже держать это в себе, решил выплеснуть эти наблюдения на бумагу в виде оформленного иллюстрированного издания.
В те времена компьютерные технологии были еще не так совершенны, как теперь. Помню – мы помогали сыну с версткой текста, сканированием рисунков, оформлением работы.
Получилось такое забавное детское издание с покоцанным попугаем Гришей первым листом обложки.
Обращаю внимание, что в прошлом веке в книгах были вложены маленькие бумажки с опечатками, которые корректоры находили в тексте уже после издания книги.
И мы с удовольствием реализовали это тщательное отношение к изданному материалу. Были очень горды этим.
Позже у сына были дома водные черепахи, эублефар, питон и несколько попугаев. Так что энциклопедия живой природы трансформировалась в живой уголок у нас дома. Уже писала об этом в публикации Хобби – островок души.
Интересно, что любовь ко всему живому сохранилась у сына и по сей день.
Особый же интерес к рептилиям и насекомым пополнился искренней привязанностью к котам, которых у него в семье на настоящий момент два.

Then my son was 7 years old. The animals most interesting to him at that time (as well as in the subsequent) were reptiles and insects. Here’s a gentleman’s set.
He spent most of his summer vacations at his dacha watching ants, beetles, dragonflies, grasshoppers, frogs, lizards, snakes (if any he came across in his field of vision) …
At some point, he was so overwhelmed with knowledge about these representatives of the fauna of our strip that he could not keep it to himself, he decided to splash out these observations on paper in the form of a decorated illustrated publication.
In those days, computer technology was not yet as perfect as it is now. I remember that we helped my son with the layout of the text, the scanning of drawings, and the design of the work.
It turned out to be such a funny children’s edition with a pummeled parrot Grisha on the first page of the cover.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the last century small pieces of paper with typos were included in the books, which the proofreaders found in the text after the publication of the book. And we gladly realized this thorough attitude towards the published material. We were very proud of this.
Later, my son had aquatic turtles, eublefar, python and several parrots at home. So the encyclopedia of wildlife has transformed into a living corner in our home. I already wrote about this in the publication Hobby — an island of the soul.
It is interesting that the son’s love for all living things has been preserved to this day.
His special interest in reptiles and insects was supplemented by a sincere affection for cats, of which he currently has two in his family.
