Так получилось, что в эту осеннюю живописную пору вместе с дочкой я оказалась рядом с комплексом зданий Московской сельскохозяйственной академии им. К.А. Тимирязева.

Было бы странно, если рядом с Тимирязевской академией не было бы ярких, веселящих взор, особенно по золотому осеннему времени, деревьев, кустарников, живых изгородей, расцвечивающих прилежащие к зданиям скверы. Обстановка вокруг была очень симпатичная, хотелось всё разглядывать, осматривать, исследовать.

Раньше я на Тимирязевской улице не бывала и никакого представления об этом месте Москвы не имела. Место оказалось говорящим. Тишина, отсутствие суеты, хотя совсем рядом Дмитровское шоссе подавляет непрерывным потоком спешащего транспорта и хлопотливыми толпами беспокойных людей, влажный прохладный воздух под пасмурным небом, изредка выглядывающее солнышко, обволакивающая мягкость и теплота, бесконечный парк и пустынный сад, экзотические деревья и безмятежность.

Это город в городе – отдельное зеленое пространство старинной усадьбы, на котором сохранились исторические здания, овеянные многовековой аурой причастности к просвещенному культивированию растений и разведению домашних животных, к красоте окружающего мира и рукотворных строений в их неразрывной гармонии.

Место навевает впечатление чего-то давно знакомого, родного. Оно оправдывает наши ожидания и предположения – на этом газоне должны расти именно такие удивительной формы деревья, плоды которых напоминают сливы, рябины обязаны цвести буйно и ослепительно, здесь должны быть экзотические деревья, полностью покрытые алой листвой, старые дома обязаны уже стать обветшалыми, а основные здания – отлично отремонтированными… И наши ожидания сбываются, хотя не всегда этого хотелось бы.

Душа этого места открывает нам свои тайны, даёт возможность их почувствовать в умиротворенности покоя, в мягкости нескошенной травы, в сочности осенних красок, в выразительности старинных построек, в нетронутости природного ландшафта и планировки садов, в красоте тут и там встречающихся экзотических деревьев и, в том числе, в некоторой неустроенности хозяйства, замшелости северных стен зданий, давности деятельного ухода за строениями и частью посадок, в наличии множества протоптанных тропинок, выщербленности камня и ощущении протекания исконных крыш.

На этом фоне разноплановых строений взгляд сразу выделяет изящное элегантное здание, которым невозможно не любоваться. От него захватывает дух! Главное украшение строения – изумительная часовая башня, которую руки сами тянутся сфотографировать. Разглядывать этот старинный дом – наслаждение, так совершенны его линии и созвучны его части.  

Это оказывается главный корпус Тимирязевской академии, построенный по проекту архитектора Н. Л. Бенуа зодчим П. С. Кампиони (1863 — 1865). Старый усадебный дом Петровского-Разумовского был сломан, а на его месте построен нынешний главный корпус академии.

Последним владельцем усадьбы Петровское-Разумовское был барон Павел фон Шульц, фармацевт и агроном, который завёл на территории большое хозяйство: теплицы, плантации лекарственных растений, лесные угодья, парк, рыбное и фермерское хозяйства. В 1860 году он продал усадьбу за 250 тысяч рублей «с целью учреждения агрономического института, фермы и других сельскохозяйственных заведений». В 1865 году была открыта Академия земледельческих наук и лесоводства, которая получила название Петровской «в память о Государе Петре Алексеевиче Великом». Студенты свою «альма-матер» называли «Петровкой».

Напротив главного корпуса академии, немного не доходя, стоит здание в виде замкнутого каре с круглыми башенками по углам (1755), напоминающее старинный замок, которое построено, возможно, по проекту архитектора Валлен-де-ла-Мота в конце XVIII века для комплекса Конного двора усадьбы задолго до основания сельскохозяйственной академии.

Это самое старое сохранившееся сооружение усадьбы, что понятно по завешанным снаружи для проведения реставрационных работ стенам.

В текущем состоянии здание, ныне 5-й корпус Тимирязевской академии, довольно обветшалое, очень подходящее для съемок в эстетике запустения и упадка. Особенно вдохновили на съемку чердачные окошки второго этажа «замка».

Позже, во времена Петровской академии, здесь был устроен Зоологический кабинет, на основании коллекции которого затем и были созданы различные музеи, используемые для обучения студентов: музей животноводства, музей коневодства, зоологический музей, музей пчеловодства.

Некоторое время назад закрыт для посетителей Тимирязевский парк, находящийся за главным корпусом академии. При этом вид сверху на эту зону Петровского-Разумовского не оставит равнодушным самого черствого зрителя.

It so happened that in this autumn picturesque time, together with my daughter, I found myself next to the complex of buildings of the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after V.I. K.A. Timiryazev.

It would be strange if next to the Timiryazev Academy there were no bright trees, shrubs, hedges that would colorize the gardens adjacent to the buildings, especially in the golden autumn time. The surroundings were very nice, I wanted to look at everything, inspect, explore.

I had never been to Timiryazevskaya Street before and had no idea of ​​this place in Moscow. The place turned out to be speaking. Silence, lack of fuss, although Dmitrovskoe Highway is very close, overwhelming with a continuous stream of hurrying traffic and busy crowds of restless people, humid cool air under a cloudy sky, occasionally peeping sun, enveloping softness and warmth, endless park and desert garden, exotic trees and serenity.

This is a city within a city — a separate green space of an old manor house, where historical buildings have been preserved, surrounded by a centuries-old aura of involvement in the enlightened cultivation of plants and breeding of domestic animals, to the beauty of the surrounding world and man-made buildings in their inextricable harmony.

The place gives the impression of something familiar and dear. It justifies our expectations and assumptions — on this lawn exactly such amazingly shaped trees should grow, the fruits of which resemble plums, rowan trees should bloom violently and dazzlingly, there should be exotic trees completely covered with scarlet foliage, old houses should already become dilapidated, and the main buildings — perfectly renovated … And our expectations come true, although we would not always like it.

The soul of this place reveals its secrets to us, makes it possible to feel them in the peace of mind, in the softness of unmown grass, in the richness of autumn colors, in the expressiveness of ancient buildings, in the intact nature of the natural landscape and the layout of gardens, in the beauty of exotic trees found here and there, and, in including, in a certain disorder of the economy, mossiness of the northern walls of buildings, the prescription of active maintenance of buildings and part of the plantings, in the presence of many trodden paths, chipped stone and the feeling of the primordial roofs leaking.

Against this background of diverse buildings, the eye immediately distinguishes an elegant elegant building, which is impossible not to admire. It is breathtaking! The main decoration of the building is an amazing clock tower, which hands themselves tend to photograph. It is a delight to look at this old house, so its lines are perfect and its parts are in tune.

It turns out to be the main building of the Timiryazev Academy, built by the architect P. S. Campioni according to the project of the architect N. L. Benois (1863 — 1865).

The old manor house of Petrovsky-Razumovsky was broken, and the current main building of the academy was built in its place.

The last owner of the Petrovskoye-Razumovskoye estate was Baron Pavel von Schultz, a pharmacist and agronomist, who started a large farm on the territory: greenhouses, plantations of medicinal plants, forest lands, a park, fish and farming enterprises. In 1860, he sold the estate for 250 thousand rubles «with the aim of establishing an agronomic institute, a farm and other agricultural institutions.» In 1865, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry was opened, which was named Petrovskaya «in memory of Tsar Peter Alekseevich the Great.» Students called their «alma mater» «Petrovka».

Opposite the main building of the academy, a little short of it, there is a building in the form of a closed square with round turrets at the corners (1755), reminiscent of an ancient castle, which was probably built according to the project of the architect Vallen de la Mota at the end of the 18th century for the Equestrian complex. courtyard of the estate long before the founding of the agricultural academy. This is the oldest surviving building of the estate, which is clear from the walls hung from the outside for restoration work. In its current state, the building, now the 5th building of the Timiryazev Academy, is rather dilapidated, very suitable for filming in the aesthetics of desolation and decline. Especially the attic windows of the second floor of the «castle» were inspired to shoot.

Later, during the times of the Petrovskaya Academy, a Zoological study was set up here, on the basis of the collection of which various museums were later created, used for teaching students: a museum of animal husbandry, a museum of horse breeding, a zoological museum, a museum of beekeeping.

Some time ago, Timiryazevsky Park, located behind the main building of the Academy, was closed to visitors. At the same time, a top view of this zone of Petrovsky-Razumovsky will not leave indifferent the most callous viewer.
