На фотографии запечатлены мои прабабушка и прадедушка – Лукерья и Пётр.

Они родились в конце 80-х годов XIX века. Вместе со всем народом нашей многострадальной родины они преодолевали выпавшие на их долю испытания: Первая мировая война, Октябрьская революция, Гражданская война, Советско-финляндская война, Великая Отечественная война.

Они всю жизнь прожили там, где родились, в селе Никольское на севере Московской области, занимаясь нелегким крестьянским трудом. Это видно по их обветренным лицам и подтянутым фигурам.

Лукерья и Пётр пронзительно смотрят с фотографии, как будто пытаясь объяснить мне своё глубинное понимание смысла жизни и понять – помог ли их жизненный путь и накопленный ими опыт сделать мою жизнь более легкой и счастливой.

В их семье родилось 6 детей: 2 сына и 4 дочери. Одна из их дочерей – моя бабушка. Благодаря ей и моей маме, а также тому, что они узнали от Лукерьи и Петра, мне не пришлось специально учиться секретам закваски вкуснейшей капусты, успешной грибной охоты, выращивания большого урожая огурцов, приготовления ароматного яблочного варенья, и много еще чего в моей жизни, а главное, незабываемому ощущению тепла и благодати земли, к которой хочется прикоснуться руками и ступить на неё босыми ногами…

Они похоронены на кладбище села Белый Раст около церкви Михаила Архангела.

Светлая им память.

The photo shows my great-grandmother and great-grandfather — Lukerya and Peter.

They were born in the late 80s of the XIX century. Together with all the people of our long-suffering homeland, they overcame the trials that fell to their lot: the First World War, the October Revolution, the Civil War, the Soviet-Finnish War, the Great Patriotic War.

They lived all their lives where they were born, in the village of Nikolskoye in the north of the Moscow region, doing hard peasant labor. This can be seen from their weather-beaten faces and taut figures.

Lukerya and Peter look piercingly from the photo, as if trying to explain to me their deep understanding of the meaning of life and to understand whether their life path and the experience they have accumulated helped make my life easier and happier.

Their family had 6 children: 2 sons and 4 daughters. One of their daughters is my grandmother. Thanks to her and my mother, as well as what they learned from Lukerya and Peter, I did not have to specifically learn the secrets of sourdough delicious cabbage, successful mushroom hunting, growing a large crop of cucumbers, making fragrant apple jam, and much more in my life, and most importantly, an unforgettable feeling of warmth and grace of the earth, which you want to touch with your hands and step on it with bare feet …

They are buried in the cemetery of the village of Bely Rast near the Church of Michael the Archangel.
